AnnotateVideo.plus allows to simply add annotations to a video. Such annotations are descriptive texts that are highlighted when the video plays at specified times. In addition to texts, annotations may include links to other web-pages, comment videos (mp4 or youTube), thought provoking questions, and more. The text annotations have two levels, first a topic (strong), then a description (plain), allowing to structure the annotations easily. Here are some examples of videos and their AnnotateVideo.plus counterparts:

  1. Patient Education Video fromNIH's National Institute of Diabetes & Digestive & Kidney Diseases NIDDK Website
  2. Example from DocCom module 33 on Breaking Bad News

ComprehensionScorer is an extension for AnnotateVideo.plus that allows to turn AnnotatedVideos into ComprehensionScorer Video Assignments. Such Assignments measure if a testee is comprehending what's going on in a video, and it produces a numeric score between 0 - 100% that the admin can use to monitor easily the comprehension of a video contant by even large groups of testees.
